General tour for the permanent exhibition FE 601

On this extensive tour we will show you highlights of the nature and the culture of a country that has ceased to exist. While exploring the outstanding exhibits, you will come to understand just how significantly East Prussia (Ostpreußen) influenced the cultural history of Germany and Europe.

The museum makes the history of East Prussia come alive:

From Prußen and Preußen till the end of 1945, the arts and crafts of Baltic amber and Cadiner ceramics, the Königsberg Academy of Arts with its most famous painter Lovis Corinth, the history of ideas with Nicolaus Copernicus, and the philosophers Immanuel Kant and Johann Gottfried Herder- passionate ambassadors of humanism.

The tour can be conducted in English, French, Polish or Russian on request.
