CULTURAL DEPARTEMENT FOR EAST PRUSSIA AT THE OSTPREUSSISCHES LANDESMUSEUM

The Cultural Department at the Ostpreußisches Landesmuseum (East Prussian Regional Museum) dedicates itself to the themes of East Prussia, the historical Baltic states and the German Russian settlement areas. Its task is to inform visitors about the varied aspects of the culture and history of the Germans in these areas. 

Our cultural offer includes:

Lectures, exhibitions, workshops, conferences readings, book launches, movie screenings, and concerts.

The cultural department also organises school- projects, training for teachers, and field excursions - often together with schools and other educational establishments in Germany, Poland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania - giving people the opportunity for open discussion is one of our major aims.
